Baby Book Tracker does not sell your family reading data or use it for advertising. The app works without a Baby Book Tracker account, and its core library stays on your device unless you choose to turn on cloud sync to your own iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android).

Your data stays on your device

Everything you put into the app (baby profiles, books, reading logs) is stored locally on your device by default. No Baby Book Tracker account is needed.

No ads or behavioral profiling

Baby Book Tracker does not use your family reading data for advertising or behavioral profiling. The app includes diagnostic error reporting and purchase infrastructure, described below, to keep the app reliable and manage optional purchases.

Optional cloud sync

Cloud sync is optional and off unless you turn it on. If you enable it, the app stores your library data and selected images in your own cloud storage so you can sync or share your library across your own devices. On iOS, that means your private iCloud/CloudKit database through Apple's services. On Android, that means the hidden, per-app appDataFolder inside your own Google Drive, accessed only with the limited drive.appdata permission scope.

On Android, the app cannot see, list, or access any other file in your Google Drive — only the private app-data folder it creates for itself. We do not receive or have access to your library data on either platform: it is written directly from your device to your own iCloud or Google account. You can turn cloud sync off, or delete the synced data from your Google Account or iCloud settings, at any time.

Android waitlist signup

Before Baby Book Tracker is available on Google Play, this website shows an Android notification ("waitlist") form instead of a Google Play button. If you submit that form, we send your email address, the product name, and the form context to our notification endpoint at langi.app so we can contact you about the Android release. We do not use that email address for advertising. This section only describes an active data flow while the waitlist form is shown; once Baby Book Tracker launches on Google Play the form is replaced by a direct link to the Play Store listing and this signup no longer occurs.

Diagnostics and purchases

The app includes Sentry for crash and error reporting. When a crash or error occurs, Sentry receives technical information such as the error and its stack trace, the app version, and the device model and operating system version. It is configured not to collect your IP address, and the app contains no analytics or usage tracking of any kind. If you make or restore an in-app purchase, Apple or Google and RevenueCat process purchase and entitlement information so the app can provide Full Access. These services are not used for advertising or behavioral profiling.

Website analytics

This website loads an analytics script from analytics.montalesi.dev to measure website usage. Website analytics is separate from the app and does not receive your baby profiles, library, or reading logs.
